Who we are

Pulse is a trading name of Ryan Eoin Keane, a sole trader in the United Kingdom. Ryan Eoin Keane is the data controller for personal data processed through Pulse. Contact us via the form on our home page.

Data we collect and why

  • Account data (name, email, login credentials) — to create and run your account. Basis: contract.
  • Feedback you upload and the analysis results — to provide the service. Basis: contract.
  • Contact form and support messages (name, work email, company, message) — to reply and provide support. Basis: legitimate interests.
  • Usage and technical data (IP address, device and browser info, logs) — for security, fraud prevention and improving Pulse. Basis: legitimate interests.
  • Subscription status (plan, billing dates) — to apply your plan. Basis: contract.
  • Marketing emails, if you opt in. Basis: consent, which you can withdraw anytime.

Who we share it with

  • Service providers that host and run Pulse, including cloud hosting, database and AI processing providers;
  • Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for selling Pulse, managing subscriptions, payments, tax compliance and invoicing;
  • Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers;
  • Authorities where required by law.

We never sell your personal data.

International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the UK/EEA. Where they do, we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.

Retention

We keep account data and uploaded feedback while your account is active and for up to 30 days after it closes, then delete or anonymise it. We keep records longer only where the law requires.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can access, correct, erase, restrict or port your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent. We respond within one month. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, and per-account data separation.

Cookies

Pulse only uses essential cookies and browser storage needed to keep you signed in and remember your help chats. We don't use advertising cookies. You can clear them in your browser settings.
